A technical look at the projects I built — the real problem, the architecture decisions and the stack behind each one.
A management system for small used bookstores, covering book registration, inventory and a point of sale. It was born because generic POS systems have no notion of a "book" as an item type, and off-the-shelf alternatives were too expensive for a small bookstore. It runs on a VPS I manage myself — nginx as reverse proxy, PostgreSQL as the database, with deployment and backups handled by me.
Result: inventory and sales in a single system. Every sale updates stock automatically and the cash report comes out by period, with no side spreadsheet.
A system for the team at a Localiza Seminovos (used car sales) kiosk at Catuaí Shopping, in Londrina, Brazil, to track vehicles in the yard. Tracking used to be manual, which caused inventory mismatches — made worse by the yard being two floors away from the sales team.
Result: manual tracking became a real-time check on the phone. The sales team knows each vehicle's status without walking two floors down to the yard.
A responsive landing page built for a law firm, from the mobile-first layout to the production deployment.
Result: the firm had its own online presence, with custom domain, HTTPS and a mobile-first layout, until it closed.
The site was live until 2026, when the firm closed its doors.
